a little about this place

Hillbilly Tea is an Appalachian tea tavern on West Main in Louisville. We brew whole-leaf tea, cook food with mountain pantry roots, and pour drinks that treat Kentucky bourbon and rye as neighbors to the tea kettle, not strangers to it.

Use the menu tabs for tea, brunch, lunch, dinner, and booze. Each list stays close to what we make in house, with short notes on blends, plates, and cocktails so you can plan before you arrive.

We sit a short walk from Whiskey Row and the museums along Main. Street parking turns over fast on weekend nights, and paid garages sit within a few blocks, so give yourself a few extra minutes when downtown is busy.
